solitaire...

u know that pre-installed game in ur computer that u never play unless u seriously got nothing to do but past the time? probably to past time before ur next class or during class itself? well, its exactly why its named that. solitaire...a word which i can relate with the other word 'solitude'...alone

consider this scenario. isolate two men in two seperate rooms for 2 weeks (of course providing food and water daily). no human contact for 2 weeks. then, introduce another human being (plausibly female) into the first room for a following 2 weeks. Which of the two men would better survive the isolation period? (oh!oh! i know this one! erm...) well, definitely not the second room am i right? he'd probably be screaming 'LEMME OUTTA HERE! i cant take it no more' before u can say 'heebe jeebies! wats wrong with u, u twisted evil genius?'

nothing really, its juz that i wanna prove a point. Man cannot live alone...(when i say man i mean individual human beings. i apologise for any sexual discriminative remarks made) we simply juz cant. why? because we were made from an image of something else (only those who've read Genesis would know wat i mean). because we try to occupy ourselves with needless materials to perfect our living. because we lack a part of our soul that makes us whole. and so we search. we seek for that one thing that can satisfy our hunger for closeness, relation, and recognition.

every1 has this need. and for the fortunate few, their needs are met. man has woman. children have their mothers. servants have their masters. priests, monks, ulamas (and what not) have God. but not every1's as lucky...notice the beggar on the street? the old man sitting alone in the corner of the LRT. the abandoned child weeping in the grocery store. the forsakened with no name to claim their grave. to these individuals i pay tribute to u, for all we ask for is to be loved.

ooo...lookie here

imagine ur on ur way somewhere or that ur meeting a fren later, and u pass by 'innocent' pedestrians. after a while, u start to notice that there are glances exchanged, sometimes if ur lucky maybe a smile. yea, getting a smile from a total stranger sure can make the heart tingle. but no, that aint the whole piece of the cake. its the weird, long, and often protruding STARES that's bothering.... ever got those when u know this dude or dudette from far far away is staring at ya one kind and u juz cant help but wonder ' wat?! wat r ya looking at? ' now being the malaysian that i am, i returned a favour by cock-staring back.

for those peeps who feel the same please comment on ur experiences * please & TQ *

~ STRIKE ME NOW ~

the other day when i was walking in the field, i wondered 'wats the possibility of me getting struck by lightning?' ( FYI: it was cloudy...go figure ) i mean honestly, there have been cases where people have been struck by lightning. I heard bout that on ' The World's Most Amazing Videos'...the best part bout that segment is that the victims survived! well anyway, after walking a bit more, i remembered one of my lecturers mentioning that lightning only strikes the highest point in an area. WHY? i asked. He said ' because lighting is made up of charges on the clouds and on the ground reacting with each other. and since charges carry electric energy, they find the fastest/easiest ( actually the least resistance ) route to travel' - oooo...now theres an interesting science fact for the day! *damn, there goes my chances...* perhapz if i cut down all the trees and bring down the field goal post in the field, then it'll work? HAHAHA... think Jim Carrey in 'Bruce Almighty'... " Smite me oh mighty smiter! "
